Due to Hurricane Irma, the island will soon be experiencing above average mosquito populations. I urge you to be patient as we are diligently treating water and spraying adult mosquitoes. If you have standing water or mosquito issues, please call our office at 904-261-5283 and we will aid in resolving the issue. Please note that our boundaries are Amelia Island, Big & Little Piney Island, and Marsh Lakes.

Our schedule for the near future will be 4:00 am until dawn spraying adult mosquitoes and afterwards treating water for potential mosquito larvae. I ask you to dump any containers or other items on your property that may have filled with water during the storm. We will do our part to get our little piece of paradise back to normal as soon as possible.

I want to personally thank you in advance.

M. Bruce Hyers

Director
